# Retouch and Generative Fill

> Remove unwanted objects or replace them with more natural results.

## What it does (and when to use it)

* **Retouch / Magic Eraser**: remove objects, dust, logos, or imperfections
* **Generative fill**: replace or extend areas using a prompt (great for scene fixes and believable edits)

## Best results tips

* Make small, precise selections
* Include enough context around the area you’re editing
* For generative fill, describe *what should be there*, not what you’re removing

## Step-by-step

1. Open an image in the editor
2. Select **Retouch** (or **Magic Eraser**) to remove an object
3. Use **Generative fill** when you want to replace with something specific
4. Iterate: refine selection + adjust prompt until it looks natural

## Common issues

* **Repeating patterns / obvious artifacts**: make a smaller selection and try again
* **Results look “off”**: add more detail (lighting, material, angle) in the prompt
