# AI Product Photos and Backgrounds

> Create studio-style product scenes and replace backgrounds while keeping your subject consistent.

## What it does (and when to use it)

Use this feature to generate realistic product scenes and backgrounds behind a product or person. It’s ideal for:

* Product listing images and catalog variety
* Seasonal campaigns (holiday, summer, back-to-school)
* Ads and social posts without a full photo shoot
* Brand-consistent scenes across many SKUs

## Best input tips

* Start with a clean, sharp image (avoid tiny thumbnails)
* For most consistent results, remove the background first (a cutout helps a lot)
* Avoid heavy glare, motion blur, and noisy compression

## Workflow: product photos (recommended)

1. Import your product image
2. Run **Remove Background** and refine the cutout if needed
3. Choose **AI Backgrounds** (generate/replace background)
4. Describe the scene or pick a style
5. Generate multiple options, then iterate (lighting, surface, props)

## Workflow: replace a background

1. Import an image (product or person)
2. (Recommended) Isolate the subject first
3. Choose **Generate/Replace Background**
4. Be specific about the environment and lighting
5. Generate variations and pick the most realistic

<Info>
  If the subject changes too much between generations, start from a cleaner cutout and keep the prompt focused on the background and lighting, not the subject.
</Info>

## Prompt tips

* Mention **lighting** (softbox, natural window light, dramatic studio)
* Mention **surface** (marble counter, wood table, seamless white)
* Mention **camera** (top-down, 3/4 angle, eye-level, “50mm”)
* Mention **props** sparingly (1–2 props helps realism)

## Brand consistency guidance

* Reuse a small set of prompt patterns for your catalog
* Keep lighting and lens language consistent (for example: “soft studio light, 50mm”)
* If you use Brand Identity, keep it enabled for all variations in a campaign
