# Talking Video

> Generate talking-head videos from a script and a face image, or lipsync audio to a portrait.

## What it does (and when to use it)

Talking Video animates a still face image with speech. Use it for UGC-style ads, spokesperson videos, product explainers, or social content where a talking head adds authenticity.

Two modes are available:

* **Script-based** -- provide text, pick a voice, and Pixelcut generates speech and animates the portrait
* **Lipsync** -- provide your own audio recording and Pixelcut syncs the mouth and facial movements to match

## Script-based workflow

1. Upload a clear, front-facing portrait
2. Write your script in the text field
3. Select a voice from the voice library
4. Set duration and output settings
5. Generate and review the result

## Lipsync workflow

1. Upload a clear, front-facing portrait
2. Upload your audio file (MP3, WAV, or M4A)
3. Generate and review the result

## Tips for better results

* Use well-lit, front-facing portraits with a neutral expression
* Keep scripts concise -- shorter clips tend to produce more natural motion
* Voice selection matters -- preview voices before committing
* Avoid portraits with hands near the face or heavy occlusion
